Stampin’ Up just announced their final Deal of the Week for July. Whoo-hoo! Another punch on sale! I love this punch! This a fantastic punch! I used it last Valentine’s Day over and over. And for only $10.99, how can you go wrong?

heartYou can take a look at a few of the projects I used it on. Also, it coordinates perfectly with the three hearted stamp in the Love You Much stamp set. This deal is good through July 31st. Shop now or contact me to place your order today.

On our last trip to Target, Eve and I found marvelous metal mini mailboxes in the dollar spot. (Try saying that three times fast!) I had been reading for years how my fellow Stampin’ Up demonstrators decorated these for all different occasions, so we picked up a couple. On our snow day last week we finally had the time to decorate them. Thanks to Emily Giovanni’s fantastic tutorial, it was super easy to cover them!

I started with a white mailbox and used the Raspberry Tart paper and the Love You Much stamp set:

Eve started with a red mailbox and used some retired Cherise paper and the Sock Monkey stamp set:

Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Cherise DSP, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Real Red 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon, Rose Red 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon, Pretty in Pink 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon, Watercolor Pencils, Sticky Strip, Mono Multi

We had fun putting them together. Might need to pick up a few more the next time we are at Target!

What would Valentine’s Day be without chocolate? Quite depressing, no doubt! Here is the second project that we are making at my Valentine’s Day workshop on January 31. It is two peppermint patties, covered with the scallop punch, and packaged in a small cello bag with a Top Note topper. Sound familiar? It is basically the same as the Hanukkah Gelt I made. I love covering the peppermint patties! They come out so cute and yummy!

Here are the two patties:

And this is the finished project:

Stamps: Love You Much, Holidays & Wishes
Ink: Basic Black, Real Red
Paper: Real Red, Whisper White
Accessories: Top Note Bigz Die, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 1/4″ Circle Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Small Cello Bags

We are thinking of making these as Valentine treats for all of the kids in Eve’s class. We are waiting to hear if there is a “no candy” rule or not.
