Simply Adorned

Yesterday I showed you the necklace I gave my mom for Mother’s Day. For my mother-in-law I put together a charm bracelet also using some of the Simply Adorned options. My mother-in-law has three grandchildren, so I wanted to include a picture of each of them. I printed the photos in black and white (thanks to a great suggestion from my friend Laura), and put a picture on each side of the charms. Her two granddaughters are in the circle charms and her grandson is in the square. Each of these charms measures 5/8 of an inch.

The Simply Adorned products are excellently made and can be used for so many occasions! Below is a list of the charms and chains available. The charms are nickel-plated and the chains are stainless steel.

I hope all of you who are mothers or mothers-to-be have a fantastic day!

If you did the Stampin’ Addicts Summer Mini catalog blog hop last weekend, then you have seen Stampin’ Up’s new line of jewelry called Simply Adorned. When I saw these, my first thought was not to stamp an insert for them, but rather that they would be great to hold photographs! I decided to use these to make gifts for both my mother and my mother-in-law for Mother’s Day. Today I am going to show you the necklace I made for mom.

For my mom I chose to use the 1″ x 1 1/4″ rectangle charm. It has glass on both sides, so she can put two pictures in it. I started it out with a picture of Eve with my mom. The pictures are very easy to change, so my mom can update it when her new grandson (my nephew) is born in July. It is on the 24″ chain. There is also a 34″ chain available.

Here’s a picture of my mom wearing it. Doesn’t she look great?

Be sure and stop back later this week to see the charm bracelet I made for my mother-in-law.
