It’s Tuesday, so you know that Arielle has a great new color combo for you over at ColourQ! Aren’t they bright and fun? I combined them with the sketch from MDS Monday #13 (but I didn’t make a monochromatic layout, since I was using these colors).

These colors were just perfect for the pictures we took at Eve’s birthday dinner at Benihana’s. She loves going there — the food is great and the whole experience is so much fun!

Another group of lovely colors from Arielle over at ColourQ this week. I love being on the ColourQ design team — it’s getting me caught up in my scrapbooking. This is particularly great since there is 25% off printing this month from Stampin’ Up! I also used the sketch from Unscripted Sketches for my layout. When I saw it, I thought that there was no way I could make a card with that sketch. However, it makes a fabulous layout for a scrapbook page!

Sage Shadow has long since retired from the Stampin’ Up lineup. I love that all of the colors continue to be available in My Digital Studio. It’s just another plus in the world of digital scrapbooking! I used some more of the pictures from our trip to Santa Barbara earlier in the month.

What a lovely set of spring colors from Arielle over at ColourQ today! Aren’t they fabulous?

Fourth graders in California are required by state law to study the missions. We spent a beautiful day with Eve and a friend of hers touring the Mission in Santa Barbara earlier this month. This is also the mission where the real  Karana, from Island of the Blue Dolphins, was taken to after she left the island. In the bottom right-hand picture, the girls are pointing to a plaque marking her grave. They read this book at the beginning of the school year.

Pretty in Pink is one of the colors that is retiring in just one more month. It will live forever in My Digital Studio, but if there is anything else you want in Pretty in Pink, do not delay! Come back tomorrow to see this week’s digital downloads from Stampin’ Up.

What do you get when you combine four great colors from ColourQ and a fun layout from MDS Monday? A fun and fresh scrapbook page, of course!

These bright colors and the big circle made it the perfect layout to  show off the yummy cookie cake that Eve requested for her birthday this year.

To make the shadows on the title, I just copied and pasted the words a second time, then changed the colors. I offset them slightly so the title stands out more.

This week’s ColourQ Colors are bright and fun! I combined them with the current sketch challenge from MDS Monday.

My mother-in-law and Eve have their birthdays just a few days apart, so they like to do something special each year to celebrate together. This year they went to see West Side Story. I’m so glad that they got some pictures together!

I made that Bermuda Bay Glimmer Paper by adding the Red Glimmer Paper and changing the color to Bermuda Bay.
