Welcome to the Inky Friends Love it. Live it. Share it. Blog Hop! You may have just arrived from Kris’s Blog, or if you are going backwards from Sara’s Blog. No worries, even if you are starting here. All of the blogs link in a circle, so you won’t miss a single amazing project. If you get stuck, you can always click this link to take you to the master list.

I am excited to show you some cards made with the new Sunshine & Rainbows bundle. For my first card, I wanted to give the look of a rainbow peeking out of gray skies. (Not that I’d know much about that here in Los Angeles…)

Little Rainbow by Yapha

Stamps: Sunshine & Rainbows
Ink: Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Emerald Envy, Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry, Smoky Slate, Basic Gray
Paper: Basic Gray, Smoky Slate
Other: Rainbow Builder Framelits

I’m going to be honest here. I don’t really like the way the rainbow looks with the stamps. I do however, LOVE the way it looks with the framelits!!

Rainbow Bright & Beautiful Birthday by Yapha

Stamps: Sunshine & Rainbows
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Soft Sky
Paper: Soft Sky, Whisper White, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry
Other: Rainbow Builder Framelits

For my final card, I didn’t use the stamps at all, just the framelits. This little 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ square card would be great for St. Patrick’s Day! It’s hard to see all the glimmer in the picture, but it is super shiny in real life.

I’m kinda thinking I agree with you, Yapha. Not to fond of the stamps, kinda what were they thinking moment. but it’a a great card. I love the cloud affect on the second card and the last is my fav with the sparkly clouds. Great work!

This bundle really makes me smile. I love all the happy projects you created with it. Maybe LA doesn’t have so many rainbows, but you’ve got sun covered!

I love the pot of gold at the end of rainbow. All of the cards are really cute, but I do love the rainbows cut out with the framelits the best. I really want to put a shamrock on that pot of gold. And I really like how you made the shape of the clouds on the second card with the rainbow peeking out.

What a cute idea for a St. Ptrick’s Day card! Love it!!! (And I agree about the stamped versus die-cu rainbow….the die cut is more spectacular!)

Great projects, Yapha! I agree about the stamp set, but you found a way to rock the stamps and the framelits.
