Half Full for the Inky Friends

Posted by on September 8, 2017

Welcome to the Inky Friends Inking Autumn Blog Hop! You may have just arrived from Sharleen’s Blog, or if you are going backwards from Tanya’s Blog. No worries, even if you are starting here. All of the blogs link in a circle, so you won’t miss a single amazing project. If you get stuck, you can always click this link to take you to the master list.

I am excited to feature the fun wine themed stamp set, Half Full. For my first project, I created a wine bottle holder with a cute little gift tag.

Wine Bottle Holder by Yapha

I can’t post the tutorial for this box, but if you leave me a comment with your email address, I would be happy to send it to you. Here’s a close up of the tag.

Wine Bottle Tag by Yapha

Stamps: Half Full
Ink: Early Espresso, Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz
Paper: Garden Green, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Coffee Break Designer Series Paper
Other: Crumb Cake 3/8″ Classic Weave Ribbon, Simply Scored

For my next card, I wanted to evoke the idea of relaxing out on the back porch with a friend and a glass of wine.

Stamps: Half Full
Ink: Archival Basic Black, So Saffron, Crumb Cake
Paper: Soft Suede, So Saffron, Whisper White, Wood Textures Designer Series Paper
Other: Stitched Shapes Framelits, 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon

I am definitely a glass half full kind of person. The question is though, what is the glass half full with? Is it wine? Is it Plexus? Is it a cosmopolitan? Take your pick!

Love the use of the Wood Textures on the second card, and the special celebratory feel that you get from the Fancy Foil DSP with that row of red wine on the third is so fun! But that wine box is amazing!
