It’s time again for another Stamp Review Crew blog hop! This time we are featuring the Flower Shop Stamp Set. You may have just arrived from Bruno Bertucci’s Blog, or if you are going backwards from Rochelle Blok’s Blog. No worries, even if you are starting here. All of the blogs link in a circle, so you won’t miss a single amazing project. If you get stuck, you can always click the link to the Stamp Review Crew to take you to the master list.

This is the perfect set to use for a flowerpot card! I haven’t made one of these in so long. (I adapted this tutorial for my card.) I love Cajun Craze for this — doesn’t it just look like terra cotta?

Here is what it looks like with the center piece pulled out.

Stamps: Flower Shop
Ink: Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder, Daffodil Delighht
Paper: Cajun Craze, Whisper White
Other: Peekaboo Peach 3/8″ Ruched Ribbon, Pansy Punch, Project Life Corner Rounder

One of the things that is tricky about this stamp set is that the petals are not all the same, so they must be stamped correctly for the punch to work. To solve this problem, I figured out which side needed to be up (the top of the punch) and drew red arrows with a Sharpie on to the stamps. That way I would have no issues stamping and punching.

Great idea about marking the top of your stamp with the red arrow. That way when you’re working the arrow will catch you’re attention and you will follow thru the right way! Way to go! and Thank you for sharing with us!
