Nacho Average Challenges Birthday Blog Hop

Posted by on April 15, 2016

Welcome to the April Nacho Average Challenges Blog Hop! Our theme this month is birthdays. I combined the fun Balloon Celebration stamp set with the fabulous It’s My Party Designer Series Paper.

Birthday Balloon by Yapha

Stamps: Balloon Celebration
Ink: Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Sahara Sand
Paper: Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, Whisper White, It’s My Party Designer Series Paper
Other: Balloon Bouquet Punch, Washi Label Punch, Melon Mambo 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon

I used this month’s sketch from Craft Project Central for the card. If you are looking for more great ideas with this stamp set, come back on Monday for the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop where we will be featuring Balloon Celebration.

Really wishing I’d bought that Designer Series Paper after looking at everyone else’s creations on the hop 🙂 Super cute balloon card, I like how you used the ribbon to make the background into two panels like on the sketch.

This is a great sketch for a simple, reproducible card. I too like your use of the ribbon instead of extra cutting and matting. Great job with the card and the sketch.
