Great Dane Card with Playful Pals

Posted by on February 7, 2016

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Whether you are cheering for the Broncos, the Panthers, the commercials, or the snacks, I hope you are enjoying the game. I decided to stretch my creative abilities before the game and see if I could make our Great Dane Sadie out of the Playful Pals stamp set. It kind of looks like a kangaroo, which might be useful later, but it’s close enough for me.

Great Dane by Yapha

Stamps: Playful Pals, Greatest Greetings
Ink: Archival Basic Black, Soft Suede, Crushed Curry
Paper: Pool Party, Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, Whisper White, Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper
Other: Pyramid Pals Thinlets, Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Watermelon Wonder 1″ Stitched Satin Ribbon, Bermuda Bay Thick Baker’s Twine

Here’s a picture of the real Sadie, with her big ears.

I used this month’s sketch from the Creating Pretty Cards challenge at Craft Project Central and the dog or cat theme from The Paper Players.
