Know What I Love?

Posted by on January 28, 2016

I’m going to be offering a Valentine card making class for my faculty next week, so I wanted to come up with something simple yet elegant. (The Bear Hugs set has the cute cards covered!) This week’s colors from Pals Paper Arts were perfect. (Ack! I just realized that I used Blushing Bride instead of Pink Pirouette! Not sure why the wrong pink was stuck in my head…)

Know What I Love? by Yapha

Stamps: What I Love, Endless Thanks
Ink: Tip Top Taupe, Blushing Bride
Paper: Watermelon Wonder, Tip Top Taupe, Whisper White, Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper
Other: Watermelon Wonder 1″ Stitched Satin Ribbon

That little heart in between the words is from the Endless Thanks Stamp Set. In addition to the colors from Pals Paper Arts, I played along with the Tic Tac Toe challenge at Stamp Ink Paper. I have the middle row across (Floral-Love-Pink) and one of the diagonals (Patterned Paper-Love-Heart).

Yapha, you accomplished your card mission for your Valentine’s Day card class… both “simple” (east to duplicate) but elegant. My favorite detail is how you placed the sentiment. Thanks for including the PPA color challenge in your stamping fun this week!

Yapha – great use of this beautiful ribbon to create a divider on your card. I love how you’ve positioned the sweet sentiment along that band. Thank you so much for playing along with this week’s Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge. I’m glad you did.
