Hanukkah Card with Punch Art Dreidel

Posted by on December 3, 2015

As you may have noticed, there are no Hanukkah stamp sets currently available from Stampin’ Up. While I am disappointed about this, I did manage to put together a Hanukkah card using only currently available stamp sets. The word “Hanukkah” is written with the Back to Basics Alphabet stamp set, and the “happy” is from Endless Birthday Wishes. The dreidel is made out of the Hexagon and Word Window punches. (You can see more great holiday punch art in my project for Craft Project Central this month. I will have more info about it right here tomorrow.)

Hanukkah Card by Yapha

Stamps: Back to Basics Alphabet, Endless Birthday Wishes
Ink: VersaMark
Paper: Soft Sky, Night of Navy, Gold Foil
Other: Gold Glitter Ribbon, Gold Embossing Powder, Hexagon Punch, Word Window Punch, Gently Falling Embossing Folder, Banner Framelits, Sharpie

This week’s color challenge over at CAS Colours & Sketches is to make a holiday card with a color combo from the past year. I chose the colors from Challenge #144. I also used this week’s sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

Seems you’ve managed really well without a Hanukkah stamp. Thanks for playing at CC&S.

The shiny gold lends a very festive feel to your card. Thanks for joining us this week at CC&S! 🙂

A very clever way to make a dreidel! I love the gold and navy together — so elegant. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
