Penguin Quartet

Posted by on November 24, 2015

I just adore these penguins from the Snow Place set. Having the framelits to cut them out is just icing on the cake. (Icing? Get it? Icing!) Here’s my card with them today.

Penguin Quartet by Yapha

Stamps: Snow Place
Ink: Archival Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie
Paper: Pool Party, Pacific Point, Whisper White, Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper
Other: Snow Friends Framelits

I used this week’s sketch from Nacho Average Challenges and the penguins and Pool Party from Brian King’s card for the Case The Designer challenge over at Global Design Project. I always love Brian’s work, so I tried to be inspired by it rather than CASEing it directly.

Yapha – I absolutely LOVE this quartet of adorable penguins. The sketch you followed is PERFECT to display these fun birds. I love how you’ve used this paper for a fun, festive backdrop. Thank you so much for playing along with my “CASE the Designer” challenge at Global Design Project this week – I’m so glad you did. Thanks, too, for your kind words about me. 🙂
