Stamp Review Crew: Lighthearted Leaves Edition

Posted by on November 1, 2015

It’s time again for another Stamp Review Crew blog hop! This time we are featuring the Lighthearted Leaves stamp set. You may have just arrived from Tanya Boser’s Blog, or if you are going backwards from Shana Gaff’s Blog. No worries, even if you are starting here. All of the blogs link in a circle, so you won’t miss a single amazing project. If you get stuck, you can always click the link to the Stamp Review Crew to take you to the master list.

This is a great fall stamp set! I’ve made a lot of cards with it already, so I wanted to try and come up with something completely different. I decided to use the chalkboard technique.

Chalkboard Lighthearted Leaves by Yapha

Stamps: Lighthearted Leaves
Ink: VersaMark, Whisper White
Paper: Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Gold Glimmer Paper
Other: White Embossing Powder, Oval Framelits, White Chalk Stampin’ Marker

I used a piece if Crumb Cake Cardstock as my card base. I also cut the middle out of the Gold Glimmer Paper so that I could save it for something else. Usually I lose the top scallops when they become my card hinge, but this way I was able to have scallops all of the way around.
