Lighthearted Leaves for the Stampin’ Addicts Fall Holiday Blog Hop

Posted by on August 28, 2015

Hello and welcome to the Stampin’ Addicts Fall Holiday Blog Hop! We are excited to be featuring Fall themed items from Stampin’ Up’s Holiday catalog. You may have arrived here from Twila’s Blog where she featured the festive A Little Something stamp set  or perhaps Tanya’s Blog (if you are going backwards), or you may be starting here. In any case, all of the blogs link together in a circle so you won’t miss a stop!

I am excited to be featuring the Lighthearted Leaves stamp set. These coordinate with the Leaflets Framelits and are fun to either color in or leave plain. My first card uses the negative space of the framelit to show off some new fall designer series paper as well.

Stamps: Lighthearted Leaves
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Tangelo Twist
Paper: Tangelo Twist, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Corrugated Cardstock, Into the Woods Designer Series Paper
Other: Leaflets Framelits, Triple Banner Punch

For my second card, I embossed the leaves on vellum with gold embossing powder, the colored it in with markers on the back.

Paper: Tangelo Twist, Into the Woods Designer Series Paper, Vellum

For my final card on focused more on coloring in all of the little designs. I embossed the leafs on thick Whisper White Cardstock with black embossing powder to have really crisp lines, and then cut them out with the framelits. (I apologize for the glare off the embossed parts.)
