Happy Birthday, Cupcake!

Posted by on March 21, 2015

Whoo hoo! Happy Spring Break to me! I am so excited to be on break for the next two weeks. I am kicking it off with a triple challenge card this morning. I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches, the colors from The Color Throwdown, and the theme of Cupcakes from The Card Concept.

FMS Final 178-001  swatch+334

As always when I play along with The Card Concept, my style fits best in their Clean & Layered category. For the colors, I used Night of Navy, Calypso Coral, and Blushing Bride.

Happy Birthday Cupcake by Yapha

Stamps: Sketched Birthday
Ink: StazOn Jet Black, Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride
Paper: Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride, Night of Navy, Whisper White, Regals Designer Series Paper
Other: Calypso Coral Chevron Ribbon, 1 3/4″ Scallop Circle Punch, 2″ Circle Punch, 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch

Since the layout of the card was much more vertical than horizontal, I used a piece of cardstock that was 4 1/4″ x 11″, and put the fold on the top instead of the side.
