Stamp Review Crew: Sheltering Tree Edition

Posted by on March 1, 2015

It’s time again for another Stamp Review Crew blog hop! This time we are featuring the Sheltering Tree stamp set. You may have just arrived from the amazing Heidi Bak’s Blog, or if you are going backwards from Lisa Young’s Blog. No worries, even if you are starting here. All of the blogs link in a circle, so you won’t miss a single amazing project. If you get stuck, you can always click the link to the Stamp Review Crew to take you to the master list.

Sheltering Tree was just introduced a few months ago in the Occasions catalog and it is already wildly popular. One of the things I wanted to try with it was a card representing the four seasons. I was inspired by the latest My Paper Pumpkin to make an accordion fold card. The finished card folds up to 4″ x 5 1/2″. Spring is on the front:

You don’t have to adjust your monitor — I stamped the tree on Soft Sky cardstock instead of white. When you open up the card, you can see all four seasons:

Stamps: Sheltering Tree
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Pear Pizzazz, Rose Red, Garden Green, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Whisper White
Paper: Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky
Other: Dazzling Diamonds, Project Life Corner Rounder

Thank you for hopping with us today! Your next stop is over at  Lisa Young’s Blog. I can’t wait to see what she made!

Wow, Yapha…LOVE the beautiful card and especially the accordian fold! Never would have thought to use 12×12 card and do a 4 panel (at least I’m guessing that is what you used) but it’s great! Jan
