Hello and welcome to the Stampin’ Addicts Sale-a-Bration Blog Hop! We are excited to be featuring most of the items that you can earn for FREE during Sale-a-Bration this year (January 6-March 31, 2015). You may have arrived here from Mary Trautner’s Blog where she featured the Project Life Mini Card Collection or perhaps Kim Bolzenthal’s Blog (if you are going backwards), or you may be starting here. In any case, all of the blogs link together in a circle so you won’t miss a stop!

I am excited to be featuring the super cute stamp set, You Brighten My Day. It has 9 stamps, which match 5 different punches. (Whoo hoo!) For my first card though, I used two of that stamps that don’t match punches. I put a little Crystal Effects on top of the light bulb so it would look shiny and more light bulb like.

You Brighten My Day by Yapha

Stamps: You Brighten My Day
Ink: StazOn Jet Black, Crushed Curry, Coastal Cabana
Paper: Crushed Curry, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper
Other: 2″ Circle Punch, 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch, Best Year Ever Accessory Pack (Crushed Curry Ribbon), Crystal Effects

My second card uses the amazing new Adventure Bound Designer Series Paper Stack. I love the phot realistic papers! The brick goes great with this cute little house. It matches the What’s Up punch, which I don’t actually have. (Not to self: buy that punch during Sale-a-Bration!) This card could be used for a housewarming, a welcome home, or even a teacher thank you, since I think it also looks like a little red schoolhouse. I used my three Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities to color the houses light, medium, and dark.

My final project is a quick and easy thank you tag. This stamp matches the Note Tag Punch, which carried over from the Holiday Catalog, so you can still get it. I received this cute little jar from one of our science teachers, with some homemade fudge in it. I filled it with candy, and am going to give it back to him as a thank you. I dressed it up with some of the Sale-a-Bration paper and ribbon as well.

Thanks for joining us on our Sale-a-Bration blog hop. Your next stop is over at Kim Bolzenthal’s Blog, where she will be showing us the Big Day Stamp Set. Her creations are always amazing!
