Apples & Honey for Rosh Hashanah

Posted by on August 24, 2014

School starts this week and that means that Rosh Hashanah can’t be that far behind! I used Jaydee’s fun sketch at The Paper Players to make a Rosh Hashanah card. That circle in the middle was perfect for my punch art apple.

I love these sheets of Hello Honey honeycomb paper in the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack. Could they be any more perfect for Rosh Hashanah cards? I don’t think so. I used the third smallest Heart Framelit to make my apple.

Apple & Honey Rosh Hashanah card by Yapha

Stamps: Rotary Alphabet Stamp
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Hello Honey
Paper: Hello Honey, Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Other: Hearts Framelits, Flower Fair Framelits, Bird Punch, Banner Framelits, Curly Label Punch, Regals Buttons, Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine

I hope that you will come play along with us at The Paper Players! I can’t wait to see what you make.

A really fun card. You are so talented. I have one of your fabulous e-books.

I think I might give this card a try myself but just change it a little to make it my own. Hope that’s okay.

    I’m in the UK.

I agree, a great card, Yapha! Love how you used a bright red apple for the circle element in the sketch, which combines perfectly with your Hello Honey background. Very “autumnal”!
