Did you know that the very first Stampin’ Addicts blog hop was one that we called Parade of Papers and it featured Designer Series Papers? It was way back in May 2009. You can see my post from that hop and the full list of participants. We have done a lot of hops in the meantime, and I am excited for today’s Designer Series Paper blog hop. Luckily we leave the hop links up permanently now, so you don’t have to worry about missing anything! Don’t forget that this month if you buy 3 Designer Series Papers you Get 1 Free (does not include specialty papers or stacks). This is the first stop on the hop, but you may have come from Betty’s blog or Sara’s blog, if you are going backwards. Not to worry, all the blogs link in a circle. I am excited to be featuring the fun and bright Flowerpot Designer Series Paper.
My first project is a quick and easy baby card. I used the Baby’s First Framelits set to cut out the onesies from three of the cute patterns.
Stamps: Zoo Babies
Ink: Night of Navy
Paper: Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango, Blushing Bride, Flowerpot Designer Series Paper
Other: White Baker’s Twine, Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, Baby’s First Framelits
My next card is actually a sneak peek at my August project for Craft Project Central. I have a whole gift set featuring these super cute punch art chickens. Keep an eye out for it!
Stamps: Just Sayin’
Ink: Night of Navy, Tangerine Tango
Paper: Lost Lagoon, Blushing Bride, Tangerine Tango, Real Red, Whisper White, Flowerpot Designer Series Paper
Other: Oval Collection Framelits, Word Bubble Framelits, 1-3/4″ Circle Punch, 1-1/4″ Circle Punch, 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch, Itty Bitty Accents Punches, Owl Builder Punch, Blushing Bride 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon
My final project is an adorable box made with the Envelope Punch Board. This box is the perfect size to hold a set of 3″ x 3″ mini cards, but I ran out of time to make those! You can see the box both closed with the belly band on, and open with the belly band off. I’ll finish the cards for the inside, and give you more details on this project then.
Paper: Crushed Curry, Night of Navy, Flowerpot Designer Series Paper
Other: Envelope Punch Board, 1-3/4″ Circle Punch, 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch
Thanks for hopping with us today! I hope you gain a lot of inspiration. Your next stop is over at Sara’s Blog, where she will be featuring the fantastic Flashback Designer Series Paper.
