I have to admit, when I saw this week’s sketch from Freshly Made Sketches, I wasn’t sure that I was going to do it. It really isn’t my type of sketch and I had no clue how it would come together. And then I was flipping through my free Sale-a-Bration packet of Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper and I saw this gorgeous piece of Crisp Cantaloupe tone-on-tone paper. Wow! It is stunning, and very different than the rest of the pack. I knew it would work perfectly for the sketch, and the rest of the card came together easily.
I really haven’t been making very many square cards lately. I’m not sure why. Especially since the scallop square cards are easier than ever with the Square Framelits. I’m really glad this sketch was a square!

I found that great sentiment in the Six-Sided Sampler stamp set. In addition to the hexagon stamps, it has three nice sayings.
