Happy Monday! My Stampin’ Addicts friends and I have a mini blog hop for you today, featuring some of the digital downloads that are 30% off this month in Stampin’ Up’s My Digital Studio Season Sale. You may have just come from Heidi’s Blog, where she showed us some great ideas with Bookstagram, or perhaps from Tanya’s Blog where she did amazing things with the Jingle and Joy Kit. Or perhaps you are starting here. Not to worry, all of the blogs are linked in a circle, so you won’t miss a single one!
I am sure it is no surprise to you that I chose the Hanukkah Happiness kit to feature. This great kit contains a 35-piece SVG stamp brush set, 8 Designer Series Papers, 4 embellishments, 1 punch (candle flame), 8 double-sided designer tag templates (2-1/2″ x 4-1/4″; 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″), 2 double-sided postcard designer templates: thank you and wish list (5″ x 7″; 7″ x 5″), and 4 1-page décor designer templates (8-1/2″ x 11″). The colors are Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White — just perfect for Hanukkah!
I have three projects to show you today. The first one is a clean and simple Hanukkah photo card. I turned the Happy Hanukkah stamp into a menorah by placing the flames over the letters. This kit includes six different ways to spell “Hanukkah,” including all of the usual subjects. The flame is an embellishment, but that same shape is also included as a punch.
My second project is another card, this one using the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. I saw this saying on another card and loved it, so I made my own! I made the dreidel by editing the hexagon punch — I flattened the top and extended the point on the bottom. (This is such a great feature!) Then I added a Word Window punch for the handle.
My final project is a scrapbook page. This one uses the sketch from MDS Monday. It was perfect for showing off some of the great papers that come in this kit.
Thanks so much for joining us on this blog hop! Your next stop is Tanya’s blog, where she featuring the Jingle and Joy kit.
