If you love rhinoceroses, or know someone who does, I may have the perfect Valentine’s Day card for you! It came together quite by accident, as I was combining this week’s colors from Dynamic Duos with the theme challenge (wild animals) from The Paper Players.
I used Lyssa’s great instructions on how to make a square card with the thinlets dies. Basically, you make your card, then trim it down to a 4″x4″ square by cutting on the right and the bottom. I wanted to use the hearts from the Adorning Accents embossing folder, so I rotated my card so it would open from the top and the hearts would be right side up instead of side ways. This is the card closed:
And this is what it looks like open. Wouldn’t it make a cute Valentine?
Stamps: Zoo Babies, Yippee Skippee
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Real Red
Paper: Real Red, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Brights Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack
Other: Circle Framelits, 2 3/8″ Circle Punch, Adorning Accents Embossing Folder, Circle Card Thinlets Die
I hope you will come back tomorrow for a fun color challenge from Tammy over at Nacho Average Challenges.
