Just a few days left of summer vacation for me! Faculty go back to school on Monday. So I made a Fall card to get me in the mood. This one uses the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and the colors from Hand Stamped Sentiments.
I thought an acorn would look good in those circles, so I pulled out my new Truly Grateful stamp set. (I also have acorns in Wonderfall and Gently Falling, I was surprised to find.) I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig on the Crushed Curry to line up that background stamp. It is pretty big, so I only had to stamp it twice. The Stamp-a-ma-jig let me get it right the first time! I love when I remember to use it.
Stamps: Truly Grateful
Ink: Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, Crushed Curry
Paper: Pear Pizzazz, Early Espresso, Crushed Curry
Other: 1 1/4″ Circle Punch, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, Wood Grain Embossing Folder, Stamp-a-ma-jig
The background stamp was a lot easier to use than I thought it was going to be. Don’t be surprised if you see many more cards it!
