Rosh Hashanah Golden Honeycombs

Posted by on August 12, 2013

Unscripted Sketches has another great flashback sketch this week. I thought it would be fun for another Rosh Hashanah card. It is similar to the the one I made for them a couple weeks ago.

I started this card out using Crushed Curry instead of the Brushed Gold paper. It was too bright, and made the card look like it was for McDonalds instead of Rosh Hashanah. I did leave a little Crushed Curry sponged around the apples. I pulled out my retired Perfectly Preserved stamp set for the apples. Love those apples!

Gold Honeycomb Rosh Hashanah Card by Yapha Mason

Stamps: Best New Year, Jewish Celebrations, Perfectly Preserved (retired)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, VersaMark
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Brushed Gold
Other: Ovals Collection Framelits, Cannery Framelits (retired), Gold Embossing Powder, 1″ Circle punch, 1 1/4″ Circle Punch

The Jewish Celebrations stamp set is not listed in the catalog, but it is still available. That’s where that gold on gold Jewish star is from.
