Harvest of Thanks for Fall Holiday Blog Hop

Posted by on August 9, 2013

Hello and welcome to the Stampin’ Addicts Fall Holiday Blog Hop! We are excited to be featuring Fall themed items from Stampin’ Up’s Holiday catalog. You may have arrived here from Sara’s Blog where she featured the beautiful Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper or perhaps Tanya’s Blog(if you are going backwards), or you may be starting here. In any case, all of the blogs link together in a circle so you won’t miss a stop!

I am excited to be featuring Harvest of Thanks, a set of four Thanksgiving themed stamps. One of the things that I love about this set is that all of the stamps have matching Framelits. Yay! I love Framelits! My first card is a thank you card that could be used for a variety of occasions, perhaps if you have a Fall birthday like I do, or of course for Thanksgiving.

Stamps: Harvest of Thanks
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry
Paper: Crushed Curry, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Sweater Weather DSP
Other: Natural Trim, Mini Silver Brads, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Woodgrain Embossing Folder

My next card is definitely for Thanksgiving, unless perhaps you are a turkey farmer. In which case, I think it would be okay to use it all of the time. This stamp is great, because it coordinates with a Framelit AND a punch!

Other: Burlap Ribbon, Deco Labels Framelits, Bitty Banners Framelits, 1 3/8” Circle Punch

For my third project I created a quick and easy napkin holder. I thought it was going to be tricky to use a marker on the corn, but it was much easier than I thought. Because the shapes are cut out with Framelits, it would be easy to whip together a dozen or so of these for Thanksgiving dinner. I might just surprise my Mother-in-Law and do that! This project also is perfect for the Fall Themed Anything But a Card challenge over at The Paper Players.

This set isn’t only for Thanksgiving. The “Thanks” stamp can really be used for any type of thank you card. I used it with the Winter Frost paper to make a thank you card that will work for any occasion!
