Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish new year) is super early this year, it starts Wednesday night, September 4th. With that in mind, I knew I better get started on my Rosh Hashanah cards, and luckily for me, this week’s sketch from Unscripted Sketches was just perfect for an idea I had in mind!
I was hoping for a new set with apples in the Holiday Catalog, but no such luck. However, this New Year set is versatile enough for any kind of New Year! It will be available beginning August 1st.
Stamps: Best New Year
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Brushed Gold
Other: Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, Honeycomb Embossing Folder, Regals Candy Dots
I played up the “Apples and Honey” theme with the Cherry Cobbler and gold, especially with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. By the way, I updated my list of Retired Stamps for Sale. Let me know if I have anything that you are looking for.
