I love this week’s sketch from Freshly Made Sketches! First, it is square. Second, it has nice clean lines. Just my type of card! I can see myself using this sketch a lot.
I realized that with all of the craziness of the end of the school year, I did not get my dad’s Father’s Day card in the mail on time. (Sorry, Dad!) Likely, my mom reads my blog everyday (not my dad, though), so hopefully she will show him this card on Sunday, if it doesn’t get there. (Thanks, Mom!)
When I was looking for Father’s Day card ideas, I came across a few with this super cute origami shirt. I had seen them before, but I had not made one. No time like the present! I used the great tutorial on Jill Coleman’s blog.
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Gumball Green, Pool Party
Paper: Pool Party, Gumball Green, Very Vanilla, Epic Day Designer Series Paper
Other: Bitty Banner Framelits
I thought about putting little buttons or the new Candy Dots on the shirt, but I needed it to be flat enough to mail. The finished card is 5″ x 5″.
