Strawberry Slush!

Posted by on June 10, 2013

Hello and welcome to the  Stampin’ Addicts New Colors blog hop! You may have just come from Kim’s blog, where is she is featuring the super yummy Pistachio Pudding, or from Cindy’s Blog, where she welcomes back Bermuda Bay. Either way, all of the blogs link in a circle and you will be able to find your way back to wherever you started.

I am excited to be featuring the new In Color, Strawberry Slush. It is a rich, vibrant pink, just a bit softer than Melon Mambo. It is great for summertime or anytime. Here you can see where it falls in with the other dark pinks.

Strawberry Slush Comparision

As with any pink, I love to pair it with brown. The vibrancy of Strawberry Slush looks amazing with Early Espresso, as you can see in the card below. This card meets the Friday Mashup challenge of “girly” hexagons and uses the new Six Sided Sampler set. I trimmed an inch off the front of the card for fun look. It may be hard to tell from the picture, but the hexagon panel was embossed for added texture.

My second card uses the new Quatrefancy Specialty Paper, which features Strawberry Slush as one of its bright, fun colors. I am loving the new Strawberry Slush ribbon. It is so cute and stretchy!
