Spring Colors for Passover

This week’s color challenge from the Paper Players has some fun and bright spring colors in it.

Seeing those spring colors made me realize that I haven’t made any Passover cards yet. I pulled out my Jewish Celebrations stamp set that was in the holiday catalog. Fortunately this is still available to buy if you don’t have it already. That big circle makes me think of a Seder plate, which made it just perfect for this card.
Stamps: Jewish Celebrations, Moving Forward
Ink: Pool Party, Early Espresso, Lucky Limeade, Regal Rose
Paper: Lucky Limeade, Regal Rose, Pool Party, Whisper White
Other: 2 1/2″ Circle Punch, Early Espresso 1/4″ Stitched Grosgrain, Square Lattice Embossing Folder
I used the frog for Moving Forward to add a little whimsy to the card. My family always associates frogs with Passover, because of the second plague. I printed the words Happy Passover on the bottom. I was really excited that my printer was able to handle the Pool Party card stock without a problem.

Very nice card to remember Passover. Our God is good.
Great way to use the color challenge. Love the frogs – how clever to put them on a Passover card!
What a creative use of our colors, Yapha! Love that you used them for a Passover card. The background paper you’ve created is fabulous! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!
