Valentine Patchwork Card

I am super excited to be doing a Stampin’ up party for Heather tomorrow! It’s been a while since I’ve done one, and Sale-a-Bration is truly the best time for it! There is so much free stuff that everybody wins! I was having a REALLY hard time coming up with a good Valentine to make, though. There are going to be about a dozen people there, so I didn’t want to make anything that would be too tedious or frustrating. Luckily, Steve to the rescue! He did a Google image search and found this card by Andrea Walford from three years ago. It’s a great design, so I updated it with current paper, ribbon, and stamps. You could really use it for any occasion by just switching those up.
Stamps: Delightful Dozen
Ink: Real Red, Pool Party
Paper: Crumb Cake, Real Red, Very Vanilla, More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper
Other: Sycamore Street Ribbon Pack (Pool Party), Designer Label Punch, 1 3/8″ Square Punch
I love Pool Party so much. I just don’t know what I am going to do when it goes away at the end of May. Sale-a-Bration is a fantastic time to stock up on all of your supplies!
If you haven’t had a chance yet, will you check out Steve’s Kickstarter project. The video is only 3 1/2 minutes long. He has two weeks left. Anything you can do to help spread the word would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I have to admit I am really sad about the thought of losing Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade! I’ll be stocking up for sure
That pool party is adorable as a Valentine color, who would have known?
Fun card with a great layout; it’s definitely one they can use a lot. Change the paper or sentiment and you have an entirely different occasion to celebrate. Perfect for a workshop!
I don’t want to lose Pool Party either. But I don’t think they would replace Bashful Blue with it since Pool Party is so bright. ???
Lovely card! And that is one helpful hubby you have there
You already know how I feel about Pool Party. I love that your husband helped you find a card. I don’t think my husband would know the first place to look. Great card. I’m sure the workshop people loved it.
