Hello and welcome to the Stampin’ Addicts Spring Catalog Blog Hop featuring fabulous stamp sets from Stampin’ Up’s new Spring Catalog! You may have just arrived from Mickey’s blog where she featured the fun and versatile That’s the Ticket stamp set, or maybe from Betty’s blog, where she showed us the amazing All Dressed Up bundle. Or maybe you are starting here! In any case, all of the blogs link in a circle, so you will be able to see them all.

I am very excited to be featuring the adorable set, Oh, Whale. The whale is cute, but I love the puns in the sayings! There is also a coordinating Happy Whale Clearlits Die, that you can use with or without the stamp set.

My first project is a Valentine’s Day card that also uses the new More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Stamps: Oh, Whale
Ink: Pool Party, Primrose Petals
Paper: Pool Party, Primrose Petals, Very Vanilla, More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper
Other: Primrose Petals Stitched Satin Ribbon, Window Frames Framelits, Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Festive Paper Piercing Pack

For my second card, I used the new Oval Framelits to make a cute oval card. This would also make a great baby card if you changed the sentiment and used Pretty in Pink and Marina Mist instead of Melon Mambo and Pacific Point. But I have another baby card to show you later on.

Paper: Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Whisper White, Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper
Other: Happy Whale Clearlit Die, Oval Framelits, Pacific Point Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon

For my third project, I cut out the whales with the die, instead of stamping them, so that I could have them facing each other. I used the owl punch to make their eyes, and drew on the mouth.

My final project for today is a Baby Bib card. I made this for a baby shower at work earlier in the month. I love the way the Googly Eye looks on the whale! Unfortunately these googly eyes will not be available after January 2, so stock up now!
