Triple Challenge Fall Leaf

Posted by on November 8, 2012

It has been a really long time since I have been able to combine three challenges, but these three just work so well together that I  couldn’t help myself. I am using the sketch from Nacho Average Challenges, the theme (Elegant Autumn) from SUO Challenges, and the inspiration from the Stampin’ Celebration Inspiration Challenge.

I am very excited that I found my watercolor paper, as I may have mentioned one or two (hundred) times lately. For this card I pulled out my watercolor crayons, too! I embossed the outline of the leaf with Early Espresso embossing powder, and the blended my More Mustard and Cherry Cobbler crayons to achieve the look I wanted. Isn’t it pretty? If I can’t have fall leaves here in Southen California, I’ll make them myself!

Stamps: Gently Falling
Ink: VersaMark
Paper: More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Watercolor Paper, Champagne Glimmer Paper
Other: Watercolor Wonder Crayons (More Mustard & Cherry Cobbler), Aqua Painter, 2 1/2″ Circle Punch, 3″ Circle Die, Perfect Pennants Bigz Die, Wood Grain Embossing Folder

Oh yes, I am definitely going to need to get back to using my Watercolor Wonder Crayons! They are so much fun! If you haven’t tried these, I highly recommend them.
