H is for Home

Posted by on November 6, 2012

The Friday Mashup has a great sketch this week! (They also have rosettes, but since I don’t have to mash it up and use rosettes, I’m just going to quietly ignore the rosettes…) As I was saying, isn’t this a great sketch? I love the squares on the square card.

My parents are moving back to Rochester, NY today, and when I saw the “H is for House” block on the super cute Storytime Designer Series Paper, I knew this would be the perfect card to send them. No stamps used on this one, just a little ink for sponging around the edges.

Stamps: none
Ink: Soft Suede, Wild Wasabi
Paper: Baja Breeze, Soft Suede, Wild Wasabi, Brushed Gold, Storytime Designer Series Paper
Other: Small Heart Punch, 3/4″ Circle Punch, 1″ Circle Punch, Gold Brads, Paper Piercing Essentials Pack

I bet you are wondering how I got those brads so straight and evenly placed. I used my handy dandy Paper Piercing Essentials Pack. It has a nifty grid of holes that you can use for spacing brads well, among other things.
