We’re closing in on Rosh Hashanah, and I have got to get these cards in the mail! When I saw this week’s great sketch from Freshly Made Sketches, I knew immediately that that “any shape” could be a jar of honey!

I really tried to keep the sketch positioned as it was, but that jar of honey looked really awkward floating there in the air. I decided to turn it on its side like Jennifer B on the design team did. Solved all of my problems — no more floating honey!

Stamps: Perfectly Preserved, unlabeled Hebrew stamp
Ink: StazOn Jet Black, More Mustard, Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso
Paper: Raspberry Ripple, Very Vanilla, Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper
Other: Cannery Framelits, Lucky Limeade Baker’s Twine, Scallop Border Punch

I water-colored the honey in the jar this time, using my aqua painter and More Mustard ink. The Hebrew words at the top say L’Shana Tova, which means “A Good Year” and is the customary greeting for Rosh Hashanah.
