Such a super yummy color combo from Arielle over ColourQ today! How delicious is this?

I used a couple of cute picturesof Eve and parents from our most recent trip there, and my all time favorite feature in MDS2, recoloring embellishments! I made the ribbon from the Knots & Ties Trim Digital Download and recolored it to Calypso Coral. I also recolored the cute buttons from the Twitterpated kit into Chocolate Chip. Notice how it left the white parts white on both of those when I recolored them? Pretty cool! (I don’t have Soft Sky in MDS2, so I used Pool Party.)

One thing I noticed was that it makes a difference which colored embellishments that I started with. I first tried recoloring the Pretty in Pink ribbon, but it gave me a very pale version of Calypso Coral. When I started with the Wild Wasabi ribbon, I got the more vibrant color you see above. So if you don’t like the recolored version of something, I suggest starting with a different base and seeing how it turns out.
