Today is the first day of school, and I wanted to make a special card for Eve’s teacher. I decided to use this week’s great sketch from Retro Sketches.

I was thinking about using my Top Note die for the great shape, but instead I chose the Bigz Clear Oval Accent Die. It is a little harder to mat, but the shape is super fun, so it is worth! The most difficult part of making this card was figuring out a good sentiment for the first day of school. I decided to go with “Imagine the Possibilities,” since a new school year is full of possibilities.

Other: Bigz Clear Oval Accent Die, Early Espresso Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon

With a different sentiment, this card would work really well for Rosh Hashanah, too.
