Welcome to the Stampin’ Addicts Holiday Blog Hop, featuring fabulous stamp sets from Stampin’ Up’s new Holiday Catalog! You may have just arrived from Mickey’s blog where she featured the versatile Border Banter, or maybe from Katherine’s blog with the super fun Toxic Treats. Or maybe you are starting here! In any case, all of the blogs link in a circle, so you will be able to see them all.
I am very excited to be featuring the Jewish Celebrations stamp set. This is an absolutely gorgeous set, perfect for Hanukkah and a variety of other Jewish holidays and occasions. It coordinates fabulously with the new Lacy Brocade embossing folder as well! My first project is a quick and easy Hanukkah card. It is a 4 1/4″ square, so it will fit in a regular envelope.
Stamps: Jewish Celebrations
Ink: Midnight Muse
Paper: Midnight Muse, Whisper White, Champagne Glimmer Paper
Other: Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Corner Rounder
I got the idea for my second project from the Holiday catalog. I love how they stamped the image twice and cut out the Jewish star to emphasize it more. I kicked this up a notch by adding an extra Jewish star in the middle.
Stamps: Jewish Celebrations
Ink: Midnight Muse, VersaMark
Paper: Midnight Muse, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Silver Glimmer Paper
Other: Scallop Circle Bigz Die, 3 1/2″ Circle Die, 3″ Circle Die, Silver Embossing Powder
My third project is another Hanukkah card, this time using some of the paper from the Festival of Prints pack. You can’t really seethe sparkle in the picture, but I sprayed the image with a home made glimmer mist using the Champagne Shimmer Paint mixed in alcohol.
Stamps: Jewish Celebrations
Ink: Island Indigo, Bashful Blue
Paper: Bashful Blue, Island Indigo, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper
Other: Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Champagne Shimmer Paint
The final project I have to share with you today is a Rosh Hashanah card. I used the same idea of highlighting the star inside the circle (I love that!) but changed it up to reflect the apples and honey associated with the Jewish New Year.
Stamps: Jewish Celebrations, Perfectly Preserved, Delightful Dozen
Ink: VersaMark
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper
Other: Gold Embossing Powder, Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder, 2 1/2″ Circle Punch, 3″ Circle Die, Cannery Framelits
Thank you so much for visiting! I hope that you enjoyed this look at the Jewish Celebrations stamp set. You can use the buttons below to continue around the hop.
