This week’s Friday Mashup Challenge is in honor of the Olympics:  Make a project with “The Olympic Colour Combination of Marina Mist, Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi & Red.” Or Make a Project using ”Multiple Circles.” Or ”Mash it Up” and create a project with both!

My other nephew is turning 8 at the end of the month, on the day that the Olympics begin, so I thought this would be a fun challenge to use for his birthday card. I also used the fabulous banner idea that I saw on this 4th of July card by Sarah Wills. I tried to incorporate circles with the embossed polka dots.

What do you think? Will this work for an 8-year-old boy? It doesn’t really feel “boy” like enough for me. I may have to try a different card.
