I am super excited today for two reasons. First, my fabulous daughter Eve is turning nine-years-old today. Nine! I can’t believe it! Second, Paula is on vacation, so she asked me to fill in for her over at the Stampin’ Addicts Sketch Challenge today! Of course I had to combine these two! Here is the sketch I made up. It is a round card, but feel free to make it square if that works better for you.
And this is the birthday card for Eve! It’s hard to tell in the picture, but I painted the Silver Glimmer Paper with Pretty in Pink reinker. It gives a pinkish glow to the paper.
Stamps: Create a Cupcake
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight
Paper: Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Silver Glimmer Paper, Subtles Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack, Brights Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack
Accessories: Melon Mambo Dotted Scallop Ribbon, Scallop Circle Bigz Die, Clear Circle Bigz Die, 3 1/2 inch Circle Bigz Die, 2 3/8 inch Scallop Circle Punch, Circles #2 Bigz Die, Cupcake Punch
I made this into an easel card. It’s such a fun way to make a card extra special. This is what it looks like opened up:
I hope that you will come play in the Stampin’ Addicts sketch challenge. I’d love to see what you make!
