Another nice clean sketch from Freshly Made Sketches this week. Their sketches come out on Wednesdays, I just don’t usually have time to play along until the weekend. I guess that’s the plus side of having the dog wake me up at 5am — plenty of time for stamping!

I was inspired by the first card on their blog, the one by Linda Callahan. I changed the focal image, since the paper looks like typewriter keys to me. It would be easy to make this card for other occasions, simply by changing the sentiment on the paper.
Stamps: You’re My Type
Ink: Early Espresso, Wild Wasabi
Paper: Wild Wasabi, Early Espresso, Whisper White, Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper
Other: Artichoke 3/8″ Denim Jean Ribbon, Antique Brads
I haven’t used that ribbon before. I got some recently in a trade with my friend Debbi. It’s a really fun ribbon, though I think it is way more brown than green. It worked great on this card, though! I also have some in the Blue Denim, though I haven’t used it yet.

Nice take on the sketch! YOu are so right, the letters do look like typewriter keys! Clever!
NOW I know what to do with that paper! Thanks, Yapha!!!
That DSP is perfect for the typewriter image! And I love that ribbon – although it’s been relegated to my “too nice to cut” stash!
Love this typewriter stamp and I love what you have done with this card … beautiful design, beautiful styling!
Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!!!
Great job with the sketch, and I agree… the DSP is perfect for use with the typewriter! Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!

I have that ribbon too but haven’t cut into it! Cute card!! Love the DSP that you used.
So wishing I had gotten that typewriter stamp set. I’ve seen so many cute ideas using it. Like this one! Great interpretation of the sketch, Yapha!
Great way to idea to combine that DSP with the typwriter!
What Cindy Said! Couldn’t figure out what to do with that paper either! Now I have to order the stamp – hehe!
