Just click on Digital Crafting, then Digital Downloads, then Newest Downloads to see all of the recent additions! If you registered your copy of My Digital Studio, you may also receive end-of-the month emails from Stampin’ Up featuring that month’s digital releases.

There is a My Digital Studio tab to the top right hand corner of this blog. It is a handy reference to a variety of My Digital Studio resources, including a list of all of the downloads and a break down of the printing costs. There is also a new Resources pageon MyDigitalStudio.net that includes an MDS Catalog. It shows all of the MDS software artwork (contained in the boxed-version) and downloads from the October 2009 launch through March 2011! The catalog gives a snapshot of the entire product line with artwork thumbnails followed by product details, which includes the colors of the designer papers! Because MDS is regularly coming out with new artwork, the catalog will be updated every month.

Today’s ColourQ colors are a fabulous group of pastels, or Subtles, as we like to call them in the world of Stampin’ Up. I substituted Baja Breeze for Soft Sky, since Soft Sky is not available in My Digital Studio. I could have put in the RGB code for Soft Sky (R 184 | G 225 | B 222), but I wanted to use some of the Designer Series Paper and buttons.

One of the things I have been really bad at lately is actually getting IN the pictures, not just taking them. I made sure to ask my sister-in-law to take a picture of the three of us when we were out for Eve’s birthday dinner. I realized as I was creating this page that I didn’t have either the Pink Pirouette or the Baja Breeze digital designer series paper. So I hopped online, bought it, downloaded it, and less than two minutes later I was back to working on my page! Love that!

I have two buttons and a pearl on top of my bow — since it is digital, I don’t have to worry about it being too bulky for my scrapbook! Another great thing about My Digital Studio is that you can use any imaginable color on your scrapbook pages! There is even a color matching tool that you can use to pull colors from your photos.n If you are interested in the RGB codes for Stampin’ Up colors, you can visit this thread on Splitcoast Stampers.

I hope you’ll come back tomorrow to see the latest digital downloads — there are some great ones!

This week’s Pals Paper Arts challenge is flower-themed, which goes quite nicely with the Stampin’ Celebration Inspiration challenge as well.

I figured this was a great time to try out my new Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch. This super cool punch will be available in Stampin’ Up’s Summer Mini catalog starting May 1st. It punches three different ways! How cool is that! I saw this great card by Darlene, and new I had to make one like it. This uses the enlaid embossing technique again. I think we’ll be making this at my Flower Fest card making class coming up on May 1. Let me know if you are interested in joining us!

Stamps: Perfect Punches
Ink: Baja Breeze, Pretty in Pink
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Baja Breeze, so Saffron, Certainly Celery
Other: Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, 3/4″ Circle Punch, Wide Oval Punch, Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon, Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Be sure to come back tomorrow for another great ColourQ challenge!

I realized that I haven’t used my Eat Chocolate set much (notice that I didn’t say I haven’t eaten much chocolate) and I thought that this week’s clean&simple Fall to Layout was just perfect for it!

I’ve had Mary’s fabulous card saved in my favorites for awhile, and used some of  her ideas to create this one. I love the saying on it!!

Stamps: Eat Chocolate
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Pear Pizazz, Blushing Bride
Paper: Blushing Bride, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, In Color Designer Series Paper Stack
Other: Pear Pizazz Poly Ribbon, Designer Label Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals

This set is from the Occasions Mini Catalog, which as you know, ends April 30. Make sure you order what you want from it before it is too late!

Stamping 411 has a great sketch again today. I combined it with the Color Throwdown for some great spring birds.

The closest colors I had to the challenge were Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, and Certainly Celery, so I used those. I thought these colors would be great with my Cheep Talk set — haven’t used that one in awhile!

Stamps: Cheep Talk
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, Certainly Celery
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery, Whisper White, Brights Designer Series Paper Stack
Other: Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon, Playground Buttons (retired), Scallop Square Duo Die, Big Shot, Stamp-a-ma-jig

Like my bow? It’s fake. I just looped some ribbon over to look good. Love that!

Remember the snowflake thank you card I made last December? I loved it so much I decided to make an updated version that I could use the rest of the year! I used the Button, Button stamp set from the Occasions mini catalog instead of snowflakes, but kept the colors and layout the same!

Stamps: Button, Button, Heard from the Heart
Ink: Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Old Olive
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Whisper White
Other: Old Olive 5/8″ Satin Ribbon

I wonder what other stamps I could use at the top? Flowers? Hearts? I’d love to see what you come up with!

Tuesday means ColourQ, and today’s colors are rich and vibrant!

It’s my off week, so I decided to make a card. I don’t have any Kiwi Kiss, so I used Old Olive instead. I have a really special sneak peek on this card for you. Tangerine Tango Embossing Powder!!! It’s coming in the new Summer Mini catalog next month! It will also be available in Wild Wasabi and Melon Mambo! How fun is that?

Stamps: Heard from the Heart
Ink: VersaMark, Crumb Cake
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango
Other: Tangerine Tango Embossing Powder, Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, Basic Pearls, White Gel Pen

Just so you know — the seam binding is not in the Summer Mini catalog, and we have no word that it will be carrying over. So if you like it, be sure and get what you need before the end of the month!

I finally got around to trying the fabulous reinker wash technique that was going around like wildfire a few years back! And boy is it fun! This card is based on one by Amanda Mertz. We’ll be making it at my Flower Frenzy card class coming up on May 1st. Let me know if you are interested in coming and learning this great technique!

Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, All Holidays
Ink: VersaMark, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink (reinker), Daffodil Delight (reinker)
Paper: Shimmery White, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip
Other: White Embossing Powder, White Satin Ribbon

The basics for this technique:
Stamp an outline image on shimmery white card stock using VersaMark and emboss with white embossing powder. (Yes, it has to be shimmery white card stock.) This rose from Fifth Avenue Floral is one of the most popular. Spritz with water so you have puddles between the lines. Spritz a little more just to be sure you have enough. Pick up some reinker on the tip of an aqua painter and touch it to one of the puddles. It will spread through the water in that section. Keep doing this until you get the look you want. Be very patient while you wait for it to dry. Cut out your image and attach to your card!

I really like this week’s Stamping 411 sketch challenge — it’s nice and clean. They’ve gone all Stampin’ Up only in their challenges, which is great for me, since that’s all I use any way! Stampin’ Up’s easy coordination can’t be beat for making great looking cards. I combined it with the this week’s Color Lab Color Challenge.

I thought that these colors would look great for a masculine card, and I wanted to send my friend Stephanie some more MotoCross cards. I made the sketch a little more masculine by using a torn edge instead of scallops, and a knot instead of a bow and a button.

Stamps: Extreme Dirt Bike, Texture Jumbo wheel
Ink: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
Paper: Poppy Parade, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
Other: Poppy Parade Poly Ribbon

Steph, let me know if you like these and I’ll send you a bunch.
