Make a Monster

Posted by on February 20, 2011

My downline Samantha just got the uber adorable Make a Monster stamp set, and she was kind enough to let me make a few monsters with it while she was teaching the after-school kids’ stamp class this Thursday. I made four little monsters, and brought them home to color in when I knew what I wanted to do with them. When I saw this week’s Stamping 411 sketch challenge and the ColorLab challenge, I knew they would be perfect for my first monster!

This monster set is just too cute. There are three monster outlines, and a variety of eyes, mouths, and other monster additions. Since Sam got the clear mount stamp set, it was super easy to put together the monster. I think this first one looks more cute than scary. Must be the eyelashes!

Stamps: Make a Monster, Family Phrases
Ink: StazOn Jet Black, Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizazz
Paper: Pear Pizazz, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Brights Designer Series Paper Stack (Rich Razzleberry)
Other: Old Olive 5/8″ Satin Ribbon, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch

Stay tuned for more monsters. I have three more, but Eve already asked if she could color one!
