This past Thursday was Tu B’Shvat, the Jewish holiday celebrating the birthday of the trees. And look how perfect for this is this week’s Stampin’ Celebration Inspiration Challenge!

Trees, cupcakes, presents, gorgeous pinks and browns — everything is perfect to inspire a great tree-themed birthday card! So I made one! The Birthday Bliss stamp set that I used was one of the freebies that I got for Sale-a-Bration last year. SAB starts on Tuesday, with lots more freebies on the way! I can’t wait!
Stamps: Season of Friendship, Birthday Bliss
Ink: Blushing Bride, Early Espresso
Paper: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Whisper White
Other: Top Note Bigz Die, Wide Oval Punch, Blushing Bride Poly Ribbon, Big Shot
Huffington Post published a very interesting article this week about how Tu B’Shvat has become a Jewish Environmental holiday. It certainly keeps the holiday just as relevant today as in the Biblical world.
