It’s not my week to be on the ColourQ Design team, since I’m on for the odd challenges only. But I couldn’t resist playing along anyway! Here are this week’s colors:
Kind of challenging colors, if I do say so myself! I decided this would be a good time to try the super cute rosebuds that I had seen made out of the wing from the Two-Step Bird punch! I punched the petals out of Poppy Parade, and then sponged Cherry Cobbler on the edges for depth. The finished card is a 4 1/4″ square.
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Poppy Parade, Cherry Cobbler
Paper: Poppy Parade, Cherry Cobbler, So Saffron, Always Artichoke, Whisper White
Other: Two-Step Bird Punch, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Poppy Parade Poly Ribbon, Crop-a-Dile, Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Big Shot
Do you like how I made a smaller square border with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder? A big thank you to Jennifer Timko for her fantastic photo tutorial on how to do this! It was much easier than I expected!
