Conversation Hearts

Posted by on January 13, 2011

Ever since I made my first card with the inlaid embossing technique last fall, I’ve been wanting to try another one. I’ve seen some great examples popping up all over the place! I thought Valentine’s Day, with heart punches, would be the perfect opportunity! And lucky for me, Pals Paper Arts has a Valentine inspiration challenge today!  I choose a Real Red background, and used the Small Heart Punch. Don’t they look just like the candy Conversation Hearts? I hope so!

Stamps: Valentine Defined
Ink:
Real Red, Pretty in Pink
Paper:
Real Red, Crumb Cake, Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Whisper White
Other:
Pretty in Pink 5/8″ Satin Ribbon, Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folder, Big Shot

Have you tried this yet? It’s such a fun technique!
