Now that Christmas is over, I am all ready to move on to making Valentines! But Eve said that it is too early to start making Valentines, so I decided to make a New Year’s card with this week’s Stamping411 sketch.

I used Night of Navy and Silver as my main colors, because I don’t have any Black satin ribbon. I think I need to fix that soon! I used my VersaMarker on the edge of the white circle and embossed it with silver. I need to work on that technique a little more, it came out a bit splotcher than I would like. But it still adds the shimmer that I wanted.

Stamps: Cheers to You, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Night of Navy, So Saffron, VersaMarker
Paper: Night of Navy, Brushed Silver, Whisper White
Other: 1 3/4″ Circle Punch, 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch, Night of Navy 5/8″ Satin Ribbon, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Basic Rhinestones, Silver Embossing Powder
, Big Shot

This card is a 4 1/4″ square, so it can still fit in a regular envelope. I hope the New Year brings you all that you desire!
