With all of the excitement around the birth of my new nephew, I haven’t had a lot of stamping time. Which is fine, I’m not complaining, just explaining. One of the projects I have planned right now is to make a scrapbook of Leo’s first week or so, with pictures all of the family visiting him. When I saw this week’s sketch from Stamping 411, I knew that it would be perfect for the cover.

I am going to make an 8″x8″ scrapbook in My Digital Studio. That way, when it is done, I can print a copy for my brother and his wife, for my parents, and for Leo’s other grandparents if they want. Also, I can start working on it now, and add photos and pages, and rearrange things as I go. I also want to gather some pictures from other people who have been taking them this week. Here is what I came up with for the cover.

I love that I can make a custom cover in My Digital Studio and chose whether I want it to be cloth, leather, a soft photo cover, or a hard photo cover! I’m thinking about adding something in the lower right hand corner, but I’m not sure what yet.
