Stamping 411′s Saturday Sketch challenge came just in time for me to make a card for the birthday party Eve was invited to this weekend. I love these sketches. They are just so easy to use!
I had a hard time deciding what to put in the box as the main image. I wanted to use the Octopus from Look Who’s Turning or the girl bear from Beary Best Friends, but now that Eve and her friends are all turning seven, these are seeming a little too young. Sigh. I may have to upgrade my stamp sets to things appropriate for tween girls. We finally decided on the cupcake from Party Hearty because, really, who doesn’t like cupcakes? I don’t know if you can see, but I also spritzed the cupcake with a mixture of Frost White shimmer pain and alcohol for a little added “wow.”
Stamps: Party Hearty, Look Who’s Turning
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper
Other: Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (reversed), Melon MamboPolka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (reversed), Frost White Shimmer Paint

It’s so hard when the kids outgrow the cutesy stuff! I love the cupcake though!! It’s perfect!!
