Okay Mom, this one is for you, so if you are reading it, STOP NOW. Look away!!!
For everyone else, this is the Mother’s Day card I am making my mom (who better not still be reading this!) I made a similar card last year, though this year I found a different set of instructions from Amy Celona. My mom loves Yo-Yo Yellow. It is her all-time favorite color, so I made that my main color. (Wait until you see her birthday card!) I’m going to be sure to stock up on it, since it is one of the colors that will be retiring at the end of June. I used the 5 petal flower punch to make the leaves.
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Garden Green
Paper: Yo-Yo Yellow, Garden Green, Really Rust, Whisper White
Other: Pinking Hearts Border Punch, 5 Petal Flower Punch, Simple Flower Embosslit, Circle Fire Rhinestone Brads, Large Oval Punch, Scalloped Oval Punch, White Satin Ribbon
It looks great like that, but the flowered piece pulls out to reveal a note card for writing on! How fun is that?
Be sure to stop back tomorrow for the Stampin’ Addicts Summer Mini Catalog Blog Hop. You’ll get to see some amazing projects featuring the new items in the Summer Mini Catalog that starts May 1st!
