Eve had a double birthday party today for two boys in her grade. I don’t have a lot of boy stamps or images. They just turned seven, so Build-a-Bear and Sock Monkey were too cute and young for them. While I was searching for ideas, I came across these cards that I made for the Stampin’ Addicts birthday challenge. I decide to change the colors and remake it in a young boy kind of way. I flipped through the Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Pad for inspiration, and came up with this:
Stamps: Happy Moments
Ink: StazOn Black, Taken with Teal, Old Olive, So Saffron
Paper: Old Olive, Taken with Teal, Whisper White, Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Pad
Other: Always Artichoke 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon
Interestingly, I grabbed my Always Artichoke Ribbon instead of Old Olive, and didn’t notice until the card was done. I think it looks pretty good with it!
