Happy Purim!

Wow, the holidays this year are coming up early! Purim is usually mid-March, but this year it is the last day pf February. We are off to a Purim carnival, but before we go I have a quick Purim card for you. (Want to learn more about Purim? Visit JewFAQ) One of the reasons that I bought the set Princess Time (other than that my daughter is a princess fanatic) was for the great crown image that I knew would be perfect for Purim cards! I was also really excited to use Rich Razzleberry since it is such a royal color. Here is what I came up with for this year:
Stamps: Princess Time, Calendar Alphabet and Numbers
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper
Other: Circle Rhinestone Brads (Fire), Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Crushed Curry Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon
I bet your wondering how I stamped that fabulous “Happy Purim” at the bottom. I did it with the magic of Stampin’ Write Markers. I took “Happy P” from the “Happy Birthday Princess” stamp — see below — and then used the Calendar Alphabet and Numbers set to finish the word.
Pretty sneaky, huh?

How absolutely ingenious! Esther is my favorite book in the Bible. When I teach Anne Frank, I do a historical background on Judaism and I’m always amazed that students have never heard of Esther, but I find they are fascinated with the story.
Fabulous card – so perfect. Happy Purim!
Super card (so clever)!! Hope you enjoy the carnival! Happy Purim to you and your family.
Brilliant! Have fun at the carnival – and Happy Purim!!!
That is a cool & creative card! Gotta love a holiday where you are commanded to eat, drink & be merry. BTW, how’s your head feeling this morning? Did you get drunk like it mentioned in the FAQ that you linked to? Funny stuff.
What a sweet card Yapha. Very clever stamping to get just the right lettering! TFS
